Diet Myths
Humans are people who are surrounded by myths. There are sexual myths, myths regarding certain races and even about diets. I am not sure where these things come from, but I do have a hunch. I often think myths begin as a way to explain something. People have a need to be able to explain what is going on even if they don't understand it. This is why myths exist and what their purpose are. They might have been a way to tell people years ago to stay away from something bad. In most cases, I think they are nothing more than a way to control people.Like most things in life, there are myths about diet as well. These serve no purpose and do nothing except hurt you in the long run. You should never believe anything that isn't surrounded by fact. All it does is confuse you and lead you in the wrong path. There is no gain from this. Let's talk about some of the dieting myths out there. I'm sure you have heard of some of these and some of them might be new to you. I'm sure a few of them will make you scratch your head and make you rethink your own diet. Cutting out the fat will make you loose weight. So many people today actually believe this. Sure, cutting out the fat is important. If you cut out the fat and eat processed foods or foods labeled 'low fat' in greater qualities you won't loose weight. If anything you will gain weight. As with anything regarding diet, you must put it all in perspective. You can't cut one area and eat too much in another area. This serves no purpose and will hurt you in the long run. People who cut out the fat either end up relying on carbs or sugar more than they normally would. Carbs will put on the weight very quickly if you aren't careful.
Working out three times a week for a half hour will make you loose weight.

More protein means more muscle.
You can eat eggs without getting fat. For the most part that is false. Unless you have some sort of health condition, these will do next to nothing for you. In the old days, diet drugs were nothing more than speed. Of course, if you take speed you will loose weight. Don't rely on drugs, rely on a good diet. There are no easy ways out in life.
Vitamins will cause weight loss.
You can eat fatty foods while dieting.
